I have been fascinated with photography since I got my first camera in junior high school, a lovely Nikon FM-2 with a 50mm lens. Which I dropped into the ocean and lost within months.
I continued with my passion undaunted, and now I share my love of the medium with my warm-hearted portraits of people and pets through La Muse Photography. I have a photojournalistic style that aims to capture a moment in time and the true spirit of my subject. I prefers to work on location: at home, a favorite park, the beach or anywhere special to my clients.
I have a Master of Fine Arts degree from Lesley University, and a certificate from the New England School of Photography in Boston. In addition, I have studied photography at the Massachusetts College of Art and the Maine Photographic Workshops, where I participated in intensive seminars with world-renowned photographers Michele Grecco and Joe McNally
I am a member of the Professional Photographers of Massachusetts and the New England Association of Professional Photographers. When I am not volunteering my time photographing events and animals that need homes for the Boston Chapter of the Animal Rescue League, I live in Brookline with my husband, Matt, and my much loved Australian cattle dog mix, Boo Radley.
