The Wohlleib Boys!

I went through this period of time where i was photographing lots of twins. Twins can be challenging. You let them loose and they run in different directions and you are standing on top of the hill with your camera on your hip. Who do you chase first! The Wohleib boys are no different. They ran, laughed, rolled down hills, played with grass and had a great time.

I have photographed these boys since they were 18 months. I can't believe how big they are now. We had a great day.

My kitchen is under construction!

How scary is this. My kitchen is down to the studs. It is hard to look at this. Today i am going to the lighting store to pick out lighting fixtures. It is hard to imagine the kitchen all finished with gorgeous lights. Keirnan, you are the best and a big thanks for going shopping with me!

I forgot to post this shoot! The day Santa jumped out of an airplane.

This family was so nice and it was a great shoot. Mom is pregnant with her second and wanted a family portrait. It was a few weeks before Christmas and the shoot was in Quincy. Every year Quincy has this giant event where Santa jumps out of an airplane with all his elf's. They have been doing it for years. During the shoot we all went to the park to watch Santa with swarms of other families.  It was to bad that the baby got tired and we had to leave. I was totally bummed. I wanted to see santa jump!  It was a great day. 

White Dogs White Snow...

Lamb Chop and Cartman. They are pals. Great pals. This was a challenging shoot. To photograph two white dogs in the white snow. That is like handing in your high school art project. A white piece of paper and telling your teacher it is a white cow in a snow storm. I found this great red door at a near by church and knew the dogs would look great in front of it.

Samantha is now 6!

I have been photographing Sam since she was knee high to a grasshopper. (i've always wanted to say that) It was her 6th birthday party and we were there to celebrate. We got to the party a little late and missed the craziness of all her friends running around. But we did get there in time to eat some cake and hang out with the grown ups too. 

We also got to see the new baby. Congratulations Kelly. We will have to plan the babe's first photo shoot soon!

Hello Phoebe

Phoebe is one of those girls you have to take care with. She began her life on the streets of Puerto Rico and then was adopted by her wonderful owner Eileen. Phoebe is brave. But their are a few things that do scare her. Thunder storms, loud noises and camera flashes. She wasn't to crazy about the click of my camera either. But with a lot of treats and soothing voices we had a great shoot. She is a sweet girl.

I have to figure out how i am going to do this. If i am going to post a photo a day on this blog or try to connect another page to this so that people can see the photos if they want. But until then the photos will be here until i move them.

Koda made the top ten list of my favorite dogs.

Koda was my Happy New Year shoot. My first photo session of the Year and it could not have been any better.

Koda is happy and healthy Boston Terrier. He was born deaf and my have been abused by his previous owners. The Feehn's rescued Koda and made him an additional member of their family. He was a little naughty when they first brought him home but with serious training he has become a great little dog.

His trainer is Olivia his teen age owner. Olivia is going to become the next Dog Whisperer. Koda is now trained to understand sign language. The bond between Olivia and Koda was beautiful to watch. Love Love Love.

I will always have a soft spot for Koda. He has made my top 10 list of favorite dogs.

Year long photo project. Day 1.

I need a project. To help keep myself creative. I am going to try and take a worthy photo a day or a not so worthy photo a day and post it on my blog. 

Today I took these photos at the dog park. As usual i had a hard time editing down. Thats okay for today as some of the dog park friends may get a kick of seeing their dogs on my blog. 

The last photo is the worthy photo. I like it.
